How to Change DNS servers at Network Solutions

Things You’ll Need:

• Your Network Solutions user ID and password
• Internet connection
• At least two domain name servers (DNS)--up to 13--from the service provider that will be hosting your domain name

Step 1:
Go to http://networksolutions.com.

Step 2:
Click the "Account Manager" button at the top of the page.

Step 3:
Enter your "User ID" and "Password."

Step 4:
Click the "Login" button.

Step 5:
Enter you domain name you want to change.

Step 6:
Click "Go!"

Step 7:
Select "Transfer my domain name to another ISP option."

Step 8:
Click "Go!"

Step 9:
Enter your working email. This email must match with the domain owner's email address.

Step 10:
Click "Go!"

Step 11:
Choose "Guardian method" from the drop down box under the "Authentication information" heading.

Step 12:
Use "MAIL-FROM" if you have no password. Otherwise use "CRYPT-PW."

Step 13:
Enter the DNS information under the "Nameserver information" heading.

Step 14:
Hit "Submit" at the bottom of the page.

Step 15:
Check your administrative email account, and forward your service agreement modification request to hostmaster@networksolutions.com.
